National Vodka Day

Sometimes called "The Water of Life" I must admit, along with wine, this would be my favorite spirit.  Shaken, slightly dirty, served up with a couple of olives or on the rocks with a lime and soda or tonic water are my preferred delivery of this refreshing libation.  However you like it, today, October 4th is a simple celebration...National Vodka Day

So before that glass of Cab you're about to have with an aged NY strip, enjoy one of the oldest spirits dating back to the 12th century.
